Yes. Pharma cleanrooms typically run on the existing DG + UPS combo today; the BESS slots in cleanly. Sub-20 ms transfer is faster than your UPS, so the BESS effectively replaces the UPS too. Many Sangareddy deployments retire the UPS bank once BESS commissions.
