Yes. Pharma cleanrooms typically run on the existing DG + UPS combo today; the BESS slots in cleanly. The MTX Hybrid switches grid ↔ battery in under 10 ms, fast enough to take over much of the UPS duty on smaller blocks. On PTX systems (125 kW and up) switching runs through an external PCC breaker engineered for the site, so cleanroom-critical loads usually keep a right-sized UPS while the BESS carries the rest of the block and cuts DG hours.
