Rajasthan has India's best irradiance. Pair it with storage.

Rajasthan gets 5.5–6.5 sun-hours per day — the country's best solar resource. The state runs heat-tolerant BESS deployments through 48°C summers. Jaipur, Jodhpur, and Udaipur hotels run heavy on DG. The math works fast here.

Rajasthan's irradiance is wasted on net-metering at a flat rate. Store it.

Tourism-driven hotel load (Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur) runs heavy DG for guest amenities. Industrial pockets in Kota (chemicals) and Bhilwara (textiles) drive commercial demand. Residential growth is fastest in Jaipur tier-2 colonies.

Rajasthan · frequently asked

Local questions, answered.

Will the BESS handle 48°C summer ambient?
Yes. LiFePO4 cells operate to 55°C with derating. The IZ-30K-3P and larger cabinets ship with active thermal management. We have sites in Jodhpur and Bikaner running through 47–48°C peaks with no thermal events.
Heritage hotel installations — any aesthetic concerns?
Yes. We've installed in 2 Jaipur heritage hotels where the BESS sits in a screened utility area, with the existing DG retained as standby. The system is silent (under 50 dB at 1 m) and emission-free — guest-facing courtyards stay liveable during outages.
Does Rajasthan's irradiance make a BESS overkill?
The opposite. With 5.5–6.5 sun-hours per day, you generate more than your daytime load can absorb. Without a battery, you either export at low net-metering rates or curtail. BESS captures the extra and shifts it to evening peak — typically a 25–35% boost in effective solar utilisation.
