Questions

22 kW AC Charger FAQs

Can the 22 kW charger be used for public charging?
Yes. RFID and app authentication, metering and OCPP make it suitable for paid public charging, managed from the TOBOR CSMS.
Will every car charge at 22 kW?
No. AC charging power is set by the car's on-board charger, and many cars accept 7–11 kW AC. Cars with a 22 kW on-board charger use the full rating.

Need more than one charger?

For societies, fleets and public sites we size the charger mix, load management and — where the grid connection is tight — a TOBOR BESS buffer.
